Pt. 62 Amy Winehouse

Such a talented individual... Many people said many bad things about her... But ultimately she had love in her heart and she gave her everything to us through her music...
Soo soulful... Soo misunderstood... Soo amazing...

Pt.60 J DILLA

J Dilla a.k.a Jay Dee a.k.a. Dilla Dawg

As far as I am concerned, and many people are in agreement with me, J Dilla was one of the best Hip Hop producers EVER!!!

His music inspired me and so many others to an extent which words cannot describe.

From the early years of Slum Village, Tribe Called Quest, Phat Kat, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, Tha Pharcyde...

To the Soulaquarians family; Talib Kweli, Common , Mos Def, James Poyser, Erykah Badu, Questlove & The Roots, D'Angelo, Q-Tip, Bilal, Dwele...

To the Stones Throw Movement & The Madliab Invasion...

J Dilla transcended the label of a Producer or Rapper - he was a musician, a creator, an innovator - A GENIUS!

Lost but Never Forgotten

He lives on through me, you, and every person who he touched in his short time.

Lets keep Dilla's music and legacy alive!

Pt.59 Martin Luther King Jr

Martin said that "We hold these truths to self evident that ALL men are created equal"

He said "To my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force".

Martin was and still is an inspiration to millions of free thinkers all over the world.

He stood not only for the rights of black people, but the rights of all people.

His message of peace was one of the most powerful that the world has ever seen.

Unfortunately like many others that have strived to create change and make this world a better place he was taken from us prematurely.

There are many theories and opinions about who killed him and why, but ultimately it is of little significance because none of these theories will bring him back. What is of great importance is the message he left us with.

We are all equal, we all deserve to live freely and in harmony with each other and nature.

Only by opening our minds and freeing ourselves from the mental shackles of propaganda and hatred can we embrace each other and work together for the greater good of mankind.

Let us not forget our past and those who sacrificed so much for us, but let us also put the past behind us and move forward to new times of love and harmony for all men, women and children.

No matter who you are, or where you are, we are all here together...

LETS GET FREE TOGETHER FOREVER!
